Additional private subnet on uverse router?

I am trying to add an additional private subnet off the uverse router. I am currently using the default 192.168.1.0/24 network and was wondering if maybe I can somehow add another network, like 192.168.2.0/24 so I can seperate some devices on the internal network. Is this possible WITHOUT adding an additional router behind the uverse router?
