ps3 connection issue
I am trying to wirelessly connect my PS3 to my ATT UVERSE 2WIRE485 router.
At one point, I actually had no problems, but now I can't seem to connect. If I plug in directly via ethernet, there are no issues. However, I now can't seem to get a connection wirelessly.
My router is discoverable by the PS3, but no matter how I try to get a connection (automatically or manually), I'm only failing.
Please, can someone help me determine the issue? I would be eternally grateful. I am more than happy to provide any more details that could be helpful in troubleshooting.
Thanks!

Hi @drewrose,
I am sorry about the issues you are having with connecting your PS3 over the wireless connection. Are you able to connect other devices to the 2Wire router? Also, are you able to connect your PS3 to another wireless connection.
A few things worth trying are:
Changing the wireless settings on your 2Wire router and try to connect again. Try changing the SSID (network name) and password.
One other thing as a last resort is to reset your PS3 settings. Here is an article that goes over how to do that.
Hope this helps.

I am having the same issue with my son's PS3. We tried resetting the router, resetting the PS3 Changing passwords... all of the above. I don't know what to do now. I guess we just have to buy a 100 foot CAT5e and connect it directly from the living room to his room.

same problem here. I think it may have something to do with the use of the IPv6. I have a hunch that PS3 is compatible only with IPv4
