ipv6 access for 5268AC

Receive  "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" when using ipv6 address to access port 8081 from external devices browser.(using brackets around ipv6 address)  ipv4 address with port 8081 responds.  Are there configuration parameters to change on 5268AC modem?  Checked addresses used with test-ipv6.com

Hello @Ohnomrbill,

Let me get right to it.  Here is a link IPv6-Internet Protocol version 6.  This article provides you with the information you are inquiring about.

Here is some additional information on accessing :

1. Once you have accessed the gateway (192.168.1.254).... Depress the WIFI selection in upper left area of page.

2. Once taken to WiFi section, the last item on top right should be IPv6, depress

3. Next screen shows Enabled, highlight and select disable

4. Select SAVE , should ask for the Device Access Code found on Label of gateway.

Thank you and have as wonderful day!

I switched pack to ipv6 on my local LAN.  I undated my firewall rules to permit input and output to the ipv6 address and video port on my linux processor.  The solution is working with ipv6 addresses.  The key was finding the correct ipv6 address for my linux processor and forgetting what I knew about ipv4 internal network addresses.
