Using a Siemens Speedstream 4100 modem installed in 2007..
Installed and using 2007 Siemens Speedstream 4100 ....is it still good? Do we need an updated newer modem?

If it's working fine for you and you aren't having any issues, then you shouldn't need to replace it. If you start experiencing issues you might want to consider doing so. Sometimes newer modems will sync better on a poor line than an older model.
If U-verse is available/becomes available and you sign up, you will need to use the modem/router device AT&T provides you.
