Turn off the router?

How do I turn off the router? I bought another router and would like to turn off the AT&T router.

You cannot replace the att gateway.  You can use your router if you want (e.g., for wifi) but it must be connected behind the att gateway (e.g., turn its wifi off).

FYI : Only thing is the new firmware makes DMZ+ mode impossible. You get no or sporadic service which virtually breaks the Pace-5268AC gateway router.
