Setting up Static IP routes in new Pace 4111n

I received a Pace 4111n route and ordered 5 static ip's from ATT for remote desktop access and Teamspeak server hosting. I was able to get the router setup to forward one of the static ip's to the pc i want to use remote desktop on, but it will not connect. I tried pinging the ip and it times out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

Not familiar with the 4111N, but the first piece of advice is to make sure your using one of the assignable addresses.

With the static IP package, you are actually assigned 8 addresses, of which only five are assignable to be routed to your devices. Address 1 and address 8 are unusable by the customer, address 7 is normally assigned to the router, and addresses 2 through 6 are the addresses you assign to your internal devices.
