Can I replace the router that came with my service with a new router of my choice??

No, you can't replace it. You can use a secondary router behind that one, but not replace it.

Let us help!

 

You can't replace the AT&T gateway, but you can connect one of your choice behind it. To do so, we'd advise you disable the wireless broadcasting capabilities of your AT&T router, connecting the 3rd party router via ethernet, and set up port forwarding on the AT&T router by clicking the link and selecting your router model to begin.
