Need help backing up to iCloud and turning UPnP or NAT-PMP on my router
Hi there,,,I'm trying to back up to iCloud and need to turn on UPnP or NAT-PMP on my router. Don't let the abbreviations fool you. I do not know what I'm doing with issues like this! Thanks, Suzie

Hello @Soozla,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community Forums! To answer your question none of the routers we offer allow for uPnP due to it causes huge security holes.
However, there is a way to work around it. If you know the ports you need to open you are able to create the rule yourself in the router.
You are also able to attach a router to our router that has uPnP functionality. You would just have to setup our U-verse router for it.

For my xbox I cant chat because the UPnP is not succsessful how do I fix it? And my nat type is strict.
