Random/intermittent disconnection/signal loss
About 2 or 3 months ago I began experiencing random and intermittent internet 'hangs' and disconnects. A service tech came out and concluded my Netgear Router wasn't working with my BGW-210 anymore so we removed the Netgear from the system. Using the BGW-210 only as my router, the network seemed to work for a few days or so but then started random 'hangs'. The lights on the router stay green and the web access page always says 'Enabled' or 'Connected'. But, nothing goes through. It's like the data stream stops/freezes but doesn't completely disconnect. This happens randomly. Sometimes it will happen several times over a 30 minute period lasting only a couple of minutes. Sometimes it may not happen for several hours. After a couple of minutes, everything starts going again on its own, without re-booting. It happens on any network device, browsing on my desk top or watching Netflix on my TV. Watching Netflix, the data will stream for about 10 or 15 minutes then freeze/hang. After about 2 or 3 minutes of disconnecting/reconnecting to Netflix it will stream again for another 10 or 15 minutes then repeat. The diagnostics tool isn't any help as it runs when there is a good connection and always says there is no problems. I've tried doing a speed test during a 'hang' but it just blinks until the stream is re-established then gives me results of the speed I should have. The service Tech left me his number in case I had any more problems but I cannot get him to answer my calls or texts. Please help[.

We have AT&T internet for 10+ years and everything being great: reliable connection and OK speed until..
We opted to have a speed upgrade to 75(D)/8(U) in early Feb 2021. Since then things are going downhill. The internet dropped many times a day, sometimes for a few seconds the devices reconnected by themselves; sometimes last for a few min until we reset the modem. We have called AT&T many times, changed 3 modems, purchased extenders which weren’t needed in the past, and a few service ... the problem remains. What’s going on with AT&T?
