Port forwarding for minecraft server

Hey guys, I'm trying to run a minecraft server and need to open port 25565

I've done it through the router configs and it says sucessful, however no one can connect from an ooutside network still

All port open checkers are indicating the port is remained closed as well, and I've reached the point where I'm not sure what to try next

Ideas?

Hi @Jak2299,

Check to see if your server is listening on that port. We usually see that it is not, and that's the reason it does not work. To check, on a Windows computer, you can open the command prompt and type in

netstat -a

to view the port activity.

Also, make sure you can access your server from your internal LAN to see if there are any server issues.
