Netgear 7550 DSL Modem/router Combo Wireless Adsl2+ Frontier Westell compatible for AT&T network?

Can someone please tell me if a Netgear 7550 DSL Modem/router Combo Wireless Adsl2+ Frontier B90-755044-15 4port by Westell is compatible on an AT&T network? If so, how do I configure it? When I connect the modemrouter it only recognizes the 192.168 .254.254 ip address and cannot get to 192.168.1.254.

We are often asked if you can bring your own Modem or router to use with your AT&T service. While a third party router will work, the modem must be issued by AT&T.

You can find out more by checking out our Terms of Service.

Ranil10,

After reaching out to a tech I have learned that you will not be able to use the modem that was built for Frontier Telecoms on ATT's network.
