My router DHCP will not assign IP address

I am unable to connect my HP printer to wifi, as my router DHCP will not assign IP address

Thank you for letting us know, @dmbrew

As @_xyzzy_ recommended, make sure that the printer is configured properly. If other devices are able to connect to the BGW210-700's WiFi network, checking the DHCP on the Gateway would likely be unnecessary. If the printer is the only device not connecting, we recommend contacting the manufacturer for the best assistance getting the device setup properly.

If you would like to check the DHCP settings on your Gateway, follow these steps:

  1. On a device connected to the Gateway, type 192.168.1.254 in a web browser's search bar and press enter.
  2. Sign in with the administrator credentials on the Gateway's label.
  3. Go to Home Network > Subnets & DHCP.
  4. Under "DHCP Server" there is a "DHCP Server Enable" section, with a drop down to turn it "On" or "Off".

If none of your devices are connecting, let us know, so we know how to proceed.

What model router do you have?

Has printer ever been connected to your WiFi?

Have you tried rebooting the router?

Is DHCP enabled on the router?

My router is Bgw210
I have not been able to connect my printer at all to the router
I did try rebooting the router
I do not not know how to check if DCHP is enabled

I recommend you check your printer's networks settings to enable DHCP.  Possibly renew the lease if it allows that.
