I just got a 5031NV-030. The internal address for the RG is 192.168.1.254/255.255.255.0
I would like to change this to 172.16.0.1/255.255.255.0
What I have in mind is this:
Inside wired ip 172.16.0.1,
Inside wired network 172.16.0.0/255.255.255.0
Inside wireless ip 172.16.1.1
Inside wireless network 172.16.1.0/255.255.255.0
Internet port ip 172.16.0.2
Inside wired ip 192.168.0.1
Inside wired network 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
Inside wireless ip 192.168.1.1
Inside wireless network 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
I have the d-link configured with a lot of stuff -- filtering, dhcp allocations, static ips, etc. So I want to reconfigure the 5031. Not familiar with the menus.

In the 5031, you can change your DHCP pool addresses by:
Hope this helps.

That worked. Thanks
I wanted a separate network inside the network provided by the 5031. I couldn't figure out how the cascade was done on the 5031 (or what a "supplemental" network was). So I finally just gave the internet port on the DIR655 a static address on the 5031 network.
5031 provides 172.16.0.0/255.255.255.0 (DHCP range 172.16.0.101 - 199). 5031 IP is 172.16.0.1
DIR655 provides 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 (DHCP range 192.168.0.101 - 199)
DIR655 internet port address is 172.16.0.2 and it's "inside" address is 192.168.0.1 with default router being the 5031 (172.16.0.1). I'm able to run DHCP separately on both of them.
I now have a large "DMZ" controlled and firewalled by the 5031 and a "private" network insde that on the other side of the DIR655. So I have a (not exactly) DMZ for all those suspect things like my IP TVs and Dishnet DVRs and my kids friends when they're visiting and my PCs and NAS behind the DIR655 aren't exposed to them.
