How do you stop the beeping for Belkin Battery backup during a power outage?

How do you stop the beeping (from the battery backup?) when there is a power outage?

It looks like there is a "mute" button on the BBU provided you have a Belkin unit:

Description

On A/C Green LED lightsNone The RG Battery Backup is operating on A/C
Green LED flashesNone The RG Battery Backup is conducting a self-test. This automatic procedure is normal
On BatteryYellow LED lightsTone every 5 seconds The RG Battery Backup is operating on battery power. The alarm will stop when main power is returned.
Low BatteryYellow LED flashes Tone every 1 second The battery energy is running low. This alarm will continue until the unit performs a forced shutdown when the battery is depleted.
Replace BatteryRed LED flashesTone every 2 seconds This alarm warns that the battery has reached the end of its useful life. The user must replace the battery as soon as possible to ensure proper operation of the RG battery backup.
FaultRed LED lightsContinuous toneA fault has occurred

NOTE: Audible alarm will not sound when mute switch is in ON position
