How can I increase the range of my 5031NV?
I have the U-verse Pace(?) 5031NV and I'd like to extend the wi fi signal out to a pool house. The distance from the 5031NV to the pool house is approximately 200 ft. There are no phone lines to the pool house. Is a repeater the answer? What kind? Are there settings I can change that will help?

If you have a laptop of other device with wireless you could go to the pool house and see if you gat any signal at all off the 5031NV. If not you would have to place one at the closest point to the pool house indoors and then go back to the pool house and see if you have signal. If you do your done. If you have a weak signal you would need an additional one in the pool house so you get good coverage in there.
If you have a weak signal in the pool house directly off the 5031NV then you can just add one in the pool house.

Where would I place the extender? In the farthest area in the main house, or in the pool house?
