High ping on online video games.

Hello. I have recently still been having problems with my ping in online gaming. Ive had 2 tech guys come out to try and fix. One of them replaced my old router with a new one and the problem still consisted. The other came and replaced the line from outside and the problem still consisted. I dont know what to do and im starting to think it has something to do with my firewall or something. I dont know what to do anymore. Any help would be so appreciated!

6/10 of a second is more than enough to get you killed in a lot of fast paced shooters such as Overwatch. It's enough to make it an unpleasant experience.

Ive had a constant 60 ping on across most games for years, until this week. My ping spikes to 3k every 1-2 minutes for a couple of seconds. I've power cycled my modem/router multiple times with no luck. I also tested DNS servers and I am on the best one possible. How in the world do i go from having great ping for years to being unable to play video games?
