HP Envy 7800 won't stay connected

I've connect my HP Envy 7800 to via wireless connectivity to my home network by it keeps dropping connectivity. So far, the only solution has been to turn of the power to the router and turn it back on. This is a pain in the $%# when it happens 3-4 times a day. This just began happening a few day ago. There appears to be a router problem, but diagnostics on this web site indicate nothing is wrong.

Hi, @WCAlfisti.

If you're not experiencing connectivity issues with any devices other than your printer, then it's likely one of two problems. Either your printer is too far away from router to maintain a stable connection, or you have too many devices connected to your WiFi which is stretching your bandwidth too thin.

In both cases, you can check out our Smart Home Manager application to see if a WiFi extender is recommended, and to monitor and manage the devices that are connected to your network. You can also try moving the printer closer to the Gateway, to see if that helps, and making sure there isn't unnecessary interference around your printer, which could weaken the signal strength.
