Hello @ddthakkars,

We understand that you're having an issue with slingbox connecting to your router.

Has this slingbox been connected before to a different router?

If so have your tried resetting the slingbox?

Hello,

This slingbox was purchased on Ebay and yes it was connected to the router and was working;   Yes, I reset the slingbox, the problem is -it just does NOT get ip address from the router! ( red light just flashes!!) -- if it were to get an ip address then I could go firewall and allow the port forwarding etc!!. any idea

Thanks

Yes. their support says to set up the router for 'UPNP' setup--- then it will get the ip address on its own, how do i do this in the router? Thanks.
