When we try to watch Amazon Prime or Netflix we get the message “not enough band width” and are not able to watch shows. I was sent a new modem and ithe internet works except for streaming from these sights. My neighbors have the same service and do not have issues. We have U-verse, not direct tv. What gives?

Have u received any help on ur smart plugs? I bought sum a week before I changed wifi carriers, they won't connect with 5 gigs. Only 2.4, well, as u no, we are 5 gigs, I understand that we can switch our routers, modems to 2.4, then connect the smart plugs, then put it back to 5 gigs. I've been searching where I can do this because there are no "switches" physically on the router, I can't get a straight answer out of anyone! I'm going nuts! Maybe they don't no how to switch it, I'm not selling my plugs! I want them working ATT! YOU HEAR ? MAKE IT WORK! I hope u get an answer soon! Thanks TPATWIL

which equals 4 outlets. I spoke to someone at ATT at Bonita mall, she said
I had to call tech support, have them switch me to 2.4 GHz while I connect
these smart plugs, then wen I'm done they'll switch it back to 5.0 GHz.
Really? That's a lil crazy! It mite take me a few to connect them! HELP.

HI @Phaedra65,
Sorry for the delay. I did some research for you, the smart plugs you mentioned only support 2.4Ghz. It is a hardware limitation on the device.

I have a Carrier Infinity thermostat that intermittently disconnects from the Carrier server, though it stays connected to the Wifi. I read it might be some issue with the DNS. Anyone have any experience on troubleshooting this with AT&T U-verse?
