Can I change Device Access Code on NVG gateway?
Yes you can. Let’s make sure you are referring to the same password discussed below. The U-verse gateway will let you change the Device Access Code also labeled as System Password on other gateways. This is the password required after accessing the gateways interface and before settings can be changed or saved for your Wi-Fi network, Firewall, or other network information.

Why'd ya change the router IP address? Add a router behind the router? Leave RG alone and use 192.168.2.254 for the router.
