Re: Bridge mode with IAD and sonic wall

Hey @Sunshine23,

Let us help!

Since you'll be using a 3rd party device to consolidate your wireless device access, we'd recommend turning off wireless broadcasting on your AT&T gateway. To do so:

  1. Access the admin portal by going to https://soc.att.com/2TfEQPk4 on a web browser
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. Click on the LAN tab under Setting
  4. Click on the Wi-Fi tab under LAN
  5. Set the Wi-Fi interface settings on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz to Disabled
  6. Click the Save button towards the bottom of the page

This way, you're only using the SSID from the Sonic Wall for Wi-Fi. Once you do that, you must configure IP passthough on the AT&T gateway so that your Sonic Wall handles all the LAN traffic instead. Check out this support post we wrote for instructions on setting up IP Passthrough.

That was quite a bit of information, so let us know if you run into any issues along the way!
