Arris NVG599
The Tech that came to my home today swapped out my router for an Arris NVG599. I just noticed there is no battery. How may I obtain a battery for it since it was not included.

They don't include them (anymore). Presumably it was for VoIP phone setups.
I recently got a NVG599 with no battery too. Since I don't use a VoIP phone with it and don't have a UPS I see no need for it. If the power goes out so are all the computers and TV's too. So what's the point?
If you do use ATT VoIP through it then you'll have to buy a battery. According to a NVG599 manual I found it says the battery is product number is 586185-002-00. So search for that or a cheaper equivalent.

I ordered a battery HERE
AFAIK it works...I haven't had an outage yet but it fit in the compartment!
