sbcglobal.net email problems

I had problems signing in to my sbcglobal.net email account this morning - so I changed the password and everytime I went back to login at att.net it stated my user name and or/password was incorrect.  Over the course of 3 hours I have reset my password 3 times and still no success logging in at att.net.  I can however login at mail.yahoo.com.  I cannot access my email on my iphone and ipad as the account directs to loginprodx.att.net and that site does not recognize my new password so....I thought I would change my password one more time to see if had any success logging in on my devices.  While logged in my sbcglobal.net email account at mail.yahoo.com I went to my account, then account security and it directs me to login.att.net and it does not recognize my password that I just changed.  Help!

Hello @allison1151,

 

If you are having trouble with your email, we have some fixes below to get back back in.

If you attempted to sign into your account via Yahoo and you were redirected to AT&T E-mail login page, this is normal. If you are having trouble signing in, try:

  • Clearing the cache and cookies on your browser.
  • Testing with a different browser.

If you are still having issues with loading the login page, go to https://soc.att.com/2Y6puli and click on the mail icon at the top right.

None of your help is written with a mobile app in mind.  I get this problem too: I can log into webmail with desktop and mobile browsers but not with iOS Mail which says incorrect password on the redirect and Find your password page says "Something's gone wrong. Please refresh the page and try again."

I get this message on my iPhones, works ok on desktop. They haven’t been able to fix it, I think tech support gave up.

Ive tried safari, Firefox and chrome, not able to login on currently. Com with iPhones. Bellsouth.net email works on desktop. Tech support not able to get working yet.

I am having the same problems as others logging in to my sbcglobal.net email account.  I have cleared history, cache and cookies, used firefox, chrome and safari browsers and tried this on two different laptops, iphone and ipad  Then it continues to tell me have I have to update my password and then will not take the the new password.

I'm moving this thread to the Email forum and closing it.

The subject of this thread has nothing to do with the current login issues with Yahoo/AT&T mail.

Now that you're in the right forum you can see that almost all of the other posts here are about this subject.  Many have the only workarounds that AT&T can muster since there's no fix at the moment.
