att.net Login Issue

Hello all,

 

We are aware of an email issue that is preventing our members from logging in. We do not have a time-frame this will be resolved but our teams are actively working to address this.

 

Logging in using login.yahoo.com is a workaround.

I, too cannot access my att.net email account. I have created a new one, but need my old account opened. I keep getting the message " Your Att account settings are out-of-date". I do not know how to update or if this will remedy my problem. I really need HELP! I have been on the phone numerous times with att. reps., but still do not have email.

My problem isn't related to the others. My ID IS TOTALLY DISABLED WITHIN ICLOUD APPLICATIONS. This means I cannot update my paid and FREE APPS ; nor can I purchase any new ones!!!!! This is A BAD BAD BAD SITUATION!!!! I've gone to the AT & T store, called apple , and afraid there's nothing else anyone can do! I keep getting new 2 factor #'s. (They don't work). New Apple I.D.'s. Don't work......they always say "wrong code wrong ID. If anyone out there can PLEASE TELL ME IF THEY've had this problem pls text me back. I would Be totally grateful forever?

Login.yahoo.com is not workinging either. All i get is popup warning" We're experiencing some technical difficulties... We're sorry but att.net Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try back again shortlt, or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue Tempoeray error 2"

A am now on day four of not being able to gain access to my email, on the web, or my usual email client, MS Live.

Ihave been unable to log in to my email for over 5 days.I have called and talked to many diffrent people at att and the tell me to call back in 24 hrs.if proble is not resolved.[Per Guidelines:  Keep it Relevant and Appropriate]..I would like a refund .

I think I would like some kind of compensation or deduction from my bill for a service that does not work half the time even using the work around.please advise me if this is possible.

You should train your customer service reps what they should say to customers with this problem. I was down for five days. Each time I called they told me "the password reset function is down and call back in a couple hours". Ridiculous. Finally a Tech Support person was able to direct me to yahoo, after sending me a temporary password. I was able to login and reset my password and get to my att.net email. It is also very hard to understand your employees because of the very thick accents they have. No fault of their own and give them credit, but I have hearing loss and find it hard to understand perfect english. Throw in a Slavic or Asian accent and forget it.

This is the 2nd incident...previous one in Oct/Nov. 2016 that was resolved.

 

On 12/28/16 Prompted to reset password...I did this ...then was prompted to go to a desktop computer to update yahoo account.

When I tried to log in with my new password....got message that email disabled and I needed to get parental permission.

Please help me!

No success....changed password and still get this ...same as in Oct/Nov 2016. Eventually, don't know if ATT or Yahoo fixed but I was able to access my account about a week later (appx 11/8/16)...Barry at ATT cares helped me...please note I set up another account at yahoo.com so I could continue communicating (set up in Oct 2016) and I DO NOT want this one affected uncpharm@yahoo.com (this is now my primary email).

You no longer have access to your AT&T Yahoo! account uncpharm@bellsouth.net because your AT&T Yahoo! Internet services have been suspended. If you are under 13 years of age, your parents need to re-approve your access to your email account and other AT&T online services. Your parents can log in with their User ID (sbann@bellsouth.net) to give that approval.
