WIFI MYFI Question

I had company at my house for a couple of weeks and let them use my wireless, which is just the little MiFi box.  They had to have access to my password on the MIFI box to use it.  Can they somehow tap into this and use it if they are in another state now and don't have my box?

Hi @Burrisnj

No, they can't connect to your account in any way if they just had your wi-fi password, but just to be safe, it may be a good idea to change it to something else.

Thanks,

As long as you did not let them log in to any of your personal accounts, the fact that they connected thru your wifi only works in range of your routers antenna.

The only way you can log into a router is thru a local connection.

No one can log into your router remotly, unless you specifically set up remote access for them to do so.

As @ATTDmitriyCM sugested, you can change your password anyways, and they can't access it, even if they pay you a suprise visit. (unless you tell them the new one, that is.)
