McAfee Subscription Expiring in 5 days?

Received a message indicating my McAfee subscription (which I get thru sbcglobal / AT&T) will expire in 5 days.

Note: 2 days ago I was hit with the Microsoft "Spring Update," and the next day received a notification from MS that there was something wrong with my MS administrative id or password (notification has since gone away with no changes being made by me).  Not sure if this has anything to do with my McAfee-thru-AT&T subscription or not.  McAfee help will not help me since the subscription is thru AT&T, and I can't get any help from AT&T online because their search is programmed to react to "McAfee" only to point one to a link for "how to download and install McAfee."  I can't get any AT&T help via phone because it is after hours (Did they shut down their Filipino help desk?)  It seems to me that this happened once before about 8-10 years ago, but I cannot remember how it got fixed.  Anyone else getting the  "McAfee subscription is expiring" message and maybe how to fix the problem?  Thanks.

Hello @riverboatsam

This is definitely an odd situation you seem to be looking at.  I have gone over my resources on this situation and do have something I’d like you to try out.

Have you tried uninstalling all McAfee products from your computer, then re-installing AT&T Internet Security Suite, from the site you’ve mentioned?  I’ve seen this help if the issue is caused by conflicting information between us and McAfee.  This refresh should end these notifications.

If you have any additional questions or concerns,  don’ t hesitate to reach back out to us.  Have a wonderful day!

Thought this problem was solved last month - had to uninstall and re-install.  But now, 25 days later it's back again. McAfee again "will expire in 5 days."
