Made a mess of Outlook 2013
We have Microsoft Outlook 2013 on one of our home computers
We have a bellsouth.net email address
I installed Microsoft Outlook 2013 on a second home computer.
Unfortunately I selected "microsoft exchange" when trying to set up Outlook on my other home computer so that I could also get our bellsouth.net on that computer.
Now when I open Outlook the Microsoft Exchange server says "POP3" and I type in my bellsouth.net email address.
I keep getting the "connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete..."
I have no idea how to get it to do anything else at this point.
Do I put a different server name in the first box?
I think I need to not select the Microsoft exchange server but I do not have a clue how to change it at this point.
Thanks for any help!

First off, you will not be using Microsoft Exchange, to set up your email. As such, we'll have to remove the configuration files.
If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 follow these steps.
1. Go to Control Panel and find "Mail". (If you're in Category View, you'll have to click on User Accounts and Family Saftey first.)
2. Double Click on Mail (or Mail (32-bit))
3. Click the "Email Accounts..." button.
4. Create a new POP Account using the settings found at the bottom of this post.
5. Once you return to the Account Settings window, select the POP3 account and click the button that says "Set as Default."
6. Click on the Exchange account, and click remove.
7. Click close and return to Outlook.
Email Settings:
Incoming (POP) Server: inbound.att.net
Port: 995
SSL: Yes
Outgoing (STMP) Server: outbound.att.net
Port: 465
SSL: Yes
Email/Username: CustomerID@bellsouth.net

Well the good news is your instructions did get me back to the set up section!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The bad news is that it still won't work.
First screen:
Your name: name on screen when receiver gets my email
email address: Customer ID@bellsouth.net
Server info:
Account type: POP3
Incoming: inbound.att.net
outgoing: outbound.att.net
user name: name on screen when receiver gets my email
Password: xxxxxxxx
Remember password box: checked Is that correct?
New outlook data file: checked Is that correct?
Require logon authentication: checked Is that correct?
More settings screen:
Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: checked
Advance screen:
incoming server: POP3 995
outgoing server: 465
SSL
The two error messages I get most are:
Timed out
Authentication required
Any further suggestions would be appreciated. But Thanks again for getting me back to the beginning!
