Locked out of my Bellsouth.net email account

For almost all of the month of November I have been locked out of my bellsouth.net email account.The reset password option will not accept my correct password nor will it accept my correct answers for the security questions. Is there any possible solution that will regain access to my email account - ?

Hi, @Chamrock222.

Do you have an AT&T Internet or other services that you sign into https://soc.att.com/2Q9LJE4 or myAT&T with? If so, the passwords for your email and the Access ID you use are linked, and you should be able to reset the password for the Access ID or User ID, and that will reset your email password.

If this will not work, let us know so we know how to proceed.

Ok Locked out of my email account.

I'm having the same problem it wont accept my password I can only remember the answer to 1 security question .I'm no longer a customer but I still use my bellsouth.net email

I have had my bellsouth email for as long as I can remember. Yesterday I got a creepy email stating my account was hacked so the first thing I did was try to change my password. After multiple attempts it wouldn’t go through because it kept saying I didn’t have a secure connection which made no sense. Eventually it said I had made too many attempts and I need to contact customer care but doesn’t direct me as to how to do that.

both of my parents have had bellsouth.net emails for probably over 20 years. It's been about 2 weeks now that someone got into their account changed the answers to their security questions and changed their passwords. There are ALOT of sensitive information and priceless photos and emails that they no longer have access to and no one has been able to help. I've searched through blogs and I see that many many people have had this problem for years but there seems to be no soloution.

Just got locked out yesterday. Password is invalid. I have had this e-mail for well over 20 years.  I get a correct credentials notification every half hour which is starting to get on my nerves. I have tried to reset my pw and of course my answers will not let me proceed. I can't see how my answers are wrong since I only had 1 dog growing up and 1 person who I did everything with as a kid. Seems like this is an on going problem. I getting the " Locked out of account by ATT" message. Could use some help.

I got an email saying that I've been my password has been changed I've never changed my password I've had my BellSouth account for years and now all the sudden since we don't have AT&T you guys are messing up with my my email I think that's messed up I can't even reset it the way it normally does you forget password to push it just circles and circles I cannot get anybody to help me with this I need somebody to help me get my password reset and my email working again

I am having the same problem and can't get any help.  Someone please tell me how to get my account back.  Can't change my pw.
