*Incoming mail server*

Question

I am trying to set up microsoft outlook with my iCloud email account. The outgoing SMTP server is iCloud SMTP Server.

I am unsure what the incoming mail server is and where I would go to obtain this information so I thought I would try here. Has anyone set up microsoft outlook before?!

Hello prostreet,

For your convenience I have included the iCloud settings, as well as the AT&T Settings. (Since this is an AT&T Forum.

iCloud Mail Server Settings found in this Knowledgebase Article indicates the following. iCloud only offers IMAP support.

IMAP information for the incoming mail server

Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes (TLS, if SSL causes errors)
Port: 993
Username: username@icloud.com or username@me.com
Password: Your iCloud password

SMTP information for the outgoing mail server

Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes (TLS, if SSL causes errors)
Port: 587
SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: username@icloud.com or username@me.com
Password: Your iCloud password

AT&T's Mail Server Settings, found here, incidcate the following POP settings.

Incoming (POP) Server: inbound.att.net on port 995
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: outbound.att.net port 465
SSL Required
