**I have the fix**
close and reopen your web browser.
mail.yahoo.com and login
Dont go to any of the ATT.yahoo pages. Directly to mail.yahoo.com and log in
Once you do that it clears something and outlook will resume working again.
I got a nice helpful person that admitted a problem was happening on a hit or miss basis and gave me a fix, all in one phone call.
I'm taking the rest of the day off!

Awesome, I've been dealing with the problem since this morning on my desktop computer and can't find anyone at AT&T who has a clue. Changing browsers, going through yahoo instead of at&t, signing in and out, nothing has worked yet. Very frustrated. :-(
