Help needed to un-merge AT&T from Yahoo

Hello AT&T

 

I cancelled my Uverse service last week because I am moving. I would like to un-merge my IDs so only my Yahoo ID remains. Can you do this for me? I am getting the run around on the phone Smiley Sad

 

I tried to PM Alex, but it says his PM's are turned off.

Hello Kevin8520,

 

Here is an article that explains how to unmerge your Yahoo Account from myAT&T account so you can keep your emails even after disconnecting Internet service:

 

Delete your att.net email ID and keep your Yahoo! email ID

Thank you for the reply. I have followed that article to the T, and I do not have the "Delete Email" link next to where it says "Check Email".

 

What are the next steps?

I am trying to unmerge my att email and my yahoo email. I have chatt...ed with someone from customer support and u-verse support and both were unable to do it. I was told that I would have to talk to a product specialist. Can someone here help me please?
