Does AT&T still support (and have) iMAP mail services?

I know that we have POP3 mail services.

Is iMAP for Mac mail clients?

What are the differences?

What are the settings for iMAP services?

After moving to a new Mac I was frustrated in trying to setup IMAP. Finally found the solution here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAMHUuz49Wo

Follow the instructions in this video and you will be all set for IMAP.

The youtube video is too old. 2011. In 2015 IMAP is not supported reliably by AT&T anymore.

Not so sure about that, it's not Uverse, It's Yahoo email and Yahoo uses IMAP4.  Another user posted he was using it and it's working.  He wasn't sure as he'd read conflicting things about it, but I read Wikipedia says Yahoo uses IMAP4 and I told him to keep using it. 😉

Old or not, this solution worked for my Uverse att.net (hosted on Yahoo) email accounts. I had iMAP working fine, until I changed phones, then I was forced to POP. Following the beginning of this video got all of my accounts working on iMAP again. Thank you-

AT&T Server Settings

I posted the settings, but the website says I had "invalid HTML" in the body of my post.  Anyway, those Setting can be found here: https://emailconfiguration.com/att-net and they work just fine in Outlook (Office 365).

I hope this helps someone even better than the outdated info that was previously posted.
