I have an sbcglobal email account that I no longer use. All it receives now is spam, but I have to monitor it just in case something important regarding my previous business communication comes through. How can I delete this email account, so it will no longer receive messages? I would like for senders to receive an "undeliverable" message if they try to use it?
You can delete your email address if it is not connected to a paid AT&T service or if it has been 30-60 days since service cancellation or disconnect. Has your email ever been connected to a paid AT&T service? If not, we have an article that explains how to delete your AT&T email account.

You can delete a free AT&T email account that's never been associated with a paid AT&T service.
Deleting a Member ID will delete and subscriptions created with that account.
