Re: DIRECTV.Net Email Changes - FAQs From The AT&T Community
Why can't I access my Directv.net email accounts until March 1, 2019 like your notice indicates?
I've had WildBlue Internet service bundled with my Directv service for over a decade. I pay for the WildBlue internet service on my Directv bill each month. I received a notice in the mail notifying me that WildBlue Internet Service will be discontinued as of January 31, 2019. The notice also indicates that I would still have access to my Directv.net email accounts until MARCH 1, 2019.
As of February 1, 2019, I cannot login to my email accounts. I get the following message: Your account is currently suspended. Please contact customer support at 1-800-551-4388. When I called this number, I reached a representative that was not helpful, but simply kept putting me on hold and coming back to tell me that I had to visit www.directv.com/wildblueinfo.This link also states that I would have access to my email accounts until March 1, 2019. The link also provides info on how to open a new AT&T email account, how to forward your Directv.net emails to another email address, or to export your contacts and/or calendar information. This is all common sense, however I still need access to the Directv.net email accounts in order to perform any of these functions.
You cannot mail a notice to customers indicating that they'll have access to their accounts until March 1, 2019 and then make the accounts inactive. Please provide me with information on how to access my Directv.net email accounts. I don't have time to sit on hold just to reach representatives that don't understand the problem, nor offer any solutions.
