Cant access email - possible SAML authentication errors - keeps redirecting to Forgot Password

When trying to access my att.net email I'm forwarded to the Forgot Password page. This happens after logging in. And this occurs after logging in to start.att.net, myatt.net, and att.yahoo.com.Even though I'm already logged in I try resetting the password as directed. However  I'm still redirected to the Forgot Password page after clicking on the email icon. I am not educated in IT but a friend of mine who is suggested this was a SAML authentication error after I showed him the problem I was having. Here is the information he suggested I provide:

Is anyone on this forum able to send this info to the team that manages AT&Ts email servers?  Or direct me on how to do so?

I tried reaching to the Tech360 team. They claim this problem is not associated with AT&Ts network, but told me to call DSL support.   Of course the DSL support team couldn't help with email server issues.

Any feeback at all would be appreciated at this point.

Do you have any anti-virus software running?  If so try turning it off.  I never heard of "SAML" before so it is something being reported locally on your system.

Note, I'm ignoring the other login problems you are having trying to log into the webmail.  I'm guessing you have a legacy account (e.g. sbcglobal.net, pacbell.net, bellsouth.net, etc., i.e., any att domain other than att.net) which might be causing those problems.  There's a lot of threads from those with legacy accounts having login problems lately.  For that all I can suggest is try to change your password, say with Forgot ID/Password.  It works for some.  But I think you need to get this SAML problem out of the way first.

All I have a is free att.net account. And yes, I've turned off antivirus software and yes I've reset my password.  SAML stands for Security Assertion Markup Language.  It is a standard protocol for web browser Single Sign-On (SSO) using secure tokens.  It literally shows up in the browser address bar when you click on the email icon, shown below:

https://loginprodx.att.net/FIM/sps/ATTidp/saml20/logininitial?RequestBinding=HTTPPost&PartnerId=https%3A%2F%2Flogin.yahoo.com%2Fsaml%2F2.0%2Fatt&.lang=en-US&Target=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.yahoo.com%2F%3F.partner%3Dsbc

I'm not having any log in problems. I can log into my account just fine. I'm just redirected to the wrong page when I click on the email icon.

The only account I have with AT&T is a free att.net email account. I don't have any of those others. And yes, I've turned off antivirus and yes I've reset my password.

SAML is a standard protocol for web browser Single Sign-On using secure tokens.  It literally shows up the address bar when you click on the email icon, as seen below:

https://loginprodx.att.net/FIM/sps/ATTidp/saml20/logininitial?RequestBinding=HTTPPost&PartnerId=https%3A%2F%2Flogin.yahoo.com%2Fsaml%2F2.0%2Fatt&.lang=en-US&Target=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.yahoo.com%2F%3F.partner%3Dsbc

The protocols are set by AT&T, not by my local system. That's why others on this forum have also posted that they are being redirected to the Forgot Password page (or other pages) instead of their webmail page.  How do we get this information to the right department at AT&T?

Try calling the Digital Assistance Center (877-273-2728).

Well, that didn't help. Calling Digital Assistance just started this neverending round of being transferred to all of the various AT&T support teams, but never to a department with the knowledge or authority to be helpful in any way.

Digital Assistance said called Tech360 (again). Tech360 said this isn't a network issue, so call DSL. DSL isn't available in my area and this isn't a DSL issue, so they said call Tech360 back. This time, Tech 360 says call Yahoo. Yahoo would not assist because I don't have a Yahoo account and this pertains to AT&T (duh).
