Cannot log in to email

I cannot log into my att email as of mid day 2days ago.  I keep it up on my computer during the day at work to check periodically and it suddenly asked for my sign in again in the middle of the day.  All my info is saved so I don't have to reenter it and it told me it was wrong.  Thinking I was hacked, but when I ask to reset my password

it won't let me.  It either says my recovery methods aren't on record or it just spins forever. Happens on my phone and both home and work computers.  How can I reset?

Is the password problem using the webmail or email client apps?

Do you have a legacy account (e.g., sbcglobal.net, etc.)?

You can change account passwords with Forgot ID/Password.

If you are using any email client apps consider replacing the password setting in those apps with a secure mail key.  Read this.

If webmail try relaunching your browser and try using another browser for comparison.
