Bold, Italics, and Underline buttons

Bold, Italics, and Underline buttons

When composing email messages, the Bold, Italics, and Underline buttons do not work.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks for posting. When you say these buttons don't work, do you mean that they are visible but not clickable? Or when you click them nothing happens? Do you get an error when you try to click them?

Keep an eye on the little blue envelope icon in the top right corner of your screen for a response.

Hey, so it looks like the following may be able to get your underline, bold, and italics buttons working again.

 

1. Click on Tools.

2. Click on Compatibility View Settings.

3. Add yahoo.com to the lists.

4. Reload the page.

 

Let me know if this helps! I still recommend that you send your feedback to yahoo about the incompatibility issues with IE 11. To send your feedback click here.

How do I click on "Tools" in order to underscore or italicize text.

 

There is no Tools bar either on the bottom of my email box or elsewhere on the screen.

The problem has not been addressed, let alone "solved."

 

There is no "tools" icon on my email.

 

How I get to "tools"?
