Blocked Domain, Email or IP address Questions and Discussion

Hi, I'm the syadmin of an ESP.   For some reason most of our users with ATT email addresses are unable to receive emails from the system.  We've tried numerous times reporting the issue to ATT blocks, however the issue still exists and our users are getting frustrated.  Can you help please?   

 

This is the ATT error message from our email server.  We use Elastic Email as our Email service provider.  They believe you are blocking our domain for some reason, as they have already moved us to another ip. 

 

 

Here's an example of the error we are getting:

 

553 5.3.0 alph154 DNSBL:RBL 521<64.159.65.119 >_is_blocked.For information send an email to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

 

This affects most of the IPs in our netblock (64.159.65.0/24) but not all.  

 

 

We've reported this many times now and gotten no reply. It's been over a month.  We've gone through every remediation step listed here:

Filled out the form here a number of times:

We emailed:

 

abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net

The blocks have been removed.  Please allow 24 hours for processing and propagation.

If you are making a request to have an IP removed from the AT&T RBL, we do require the specific IP from the NDR that is being received. If you do not feel comfortable posting it publicly, feel free to direct message it to me.

BLOCKED EMAIL - IP ADDRESS BLOCK LIST - HELP!

I have sent in many requests and emailed to have my IP address from the Blacklist.  I have also filled out several email and forms and NO response.  We are NOT on ANY Blocklists except yours for some reason.

Can you please submit a request to have the blocks removed on these two small ranges 185.183.106.32/30 and 185.183.105.100/30

Hello, we are a web and email hosting company. The IP address of our mail server (184.107.41.242) appears to be on your email blacklist. We are very much against spam and use anti-spam software on our servers, as well as checking them regularly for malware. Our IP address has a good reputation, and we are not on any other blacklist, so we would like to request that we be removed from yours so that our users are able to send mail to your servers. Thank you.

Hello again, dmbpunch. Please double check the IP address you're mentioning. the 192.254.xxx.xxx is an internal IP address, native to your home / internal LAN. This is not a WAN facing IP address.

Why Is My Domain Ip Being Blocked

I'm trying to understand why AT&T is blocking my domain ip.  We don't send spam. 

I mean it's not even allowing our emails to go into the spam box but completely blocking them from delivery. 

 

Why is AT&T attempting to hurt other businesses?  The only thing to do is spend time writing in forums to try to get this resolved with the Big AT&T Company who blocks emails from little companies without any reasons or any given?

 

I don't think AT&T is going to be around much longer, another more company like Sprint will put them out of business.

 

Our email have correct SPF, Domains keys everything ---you name it all configured correctly.

 

I'm going to add a notice on our contact forms and order forms to use another email addres other than AT&T so they can get there mail. I don't like the way AT&T treats smallers companies making them jump through piles of *** just to get there order confirmation emails, shipping confirmations, and business emails etc.

 

I don't see any reason our emails would be block or even go in the spam box.  

 

Please check your computer systems for malfunction or virus AT&T seance your in the computer business you need to have these things working correctly.

Same issue here for 159.135.231.109. We send legitimate subscription based bulk mail and follow best practices for subscribing/unsubscribing, double opt-in, DKIM, SPF, etc. This is a new dedicated IP in our pool so it doesn't have the good reputation yet of our others.

Blacklist Removal

Hi AT&T,

 

One of our clients is trying to send an e-mail and is getting blocked by AT&T. I've noticed from checking around the other forum posts that sending through the error messages to the e-mail address advised does not really go anywhere. I have checked MXToolbox and several other site to confirm that our IP addresses are not blacklisted elsewhere. Can you please unblock our IPs so that our client can send their e-mail.

 

Errors received:

We apologize about the issues that you are running into with the block domain. For people having issues with their E-mail server, please be sure to make sure it is secured and not on any blacklists. If still having issues, please send an E-mail to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net. You can find more information at our support site.

If you run an E-mail server, please follow the link to the site where you can find an E-mail to our block list group. If you do not hear back in 3 business days, please send another E-mail. Avoid long E-mails or anything that may be flagged for SPAM.

113.52.6.216 is not blocked by AT&T.  I have sent a request to have the other IP removed.  I will reply when I get a response.
