Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

Hi Arnoldas!

I understand you had concerns regarding the the signature that was applied on your outgoing messages. I know it's inconvenient but I want to let you know I am here to help.

The good news is it's a super easy process to remove it. Click the Settings gear icon (⚙) in Gmail's navigation bar and select Settings from the menu that has appeared. From here, go to the General tab and make sure No Signature is selected under Signature. Once you do this, click Save Changes and you are good to go!

Should you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thanks so much for all your time and for being a part of AT&T. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

Hello,

Thank you for this answer, unfortunately, this did not work. I found these settings, but it was already set - "No signature"
I tried to create my own, I thought maybe this would help, but when I send a message, I check "Sent mail", open my message and I see my signature I created and at the end - same old annoying ATT wifi signature. I'm not sure if it from Gmail settings. When i use exact Gmail from my phone, there's no signature, all good. It's only when i use my laptop. Please help me to solve this problem, it's a shame when i have to communicate with my clients.

Best Regards,

Arnoldas

Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

Why is this even being discussed here?  If there is a problem with gmail take it to some appropriate gmail discussion forum.

I think the OP has a problem with his system or maybe the wifi network being used.  I base that on the following:

  1. That ?Help link is to secure.wayport.net/help.adp.  Some googling let me to this wiki page which implies that this is not the "normal" wifi att provides through your gateway but some sort of business wifi through AT&T Wi-Fi Services.
  2. What's with the link to an "Employee login"?  That to ipm-provider.ff.avast.com.  Isn't avast virus detecting software?  What's that even doing in the signature?

OP, I suggest you (a) check which wifi network you are using and (b) turn any AV software off.

Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

Thank you
The problem was with the Avast antivirus. I turned off automatic email signature in Avast settings and it worked.  Thank you.

Best of luck

Why don't business owners receive the same co-operative assistance?

Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

It's impossible to make hard-and-fast rules about email etiquette, and in some instances, you may completely disagree with the sentiment expressed. At the very least, though, it's worthwhile to know that some people may be annoyed by that behavior.

Re: Annoying AT&T wifi email signature

I think  that amazon's trade-in service applies for just about every type of phone, tablet, and electronic product. Amazon will pay for shipping your device out to them, but you'll get paid with an Amazon gift card rather than proper cash, but that might not be an awful thing if you can find your next phone on Amazon ShowBox Lucky Patcher Kodi (and you probably can). If you just want some cold, hard cash, or already have your next device ready to go, this route might not be for you.
