I have tried for the last 6 months to remove
A old email address from my auto complete
With no luck. I have deleted the old address
From contacts an entered a new one. The old
One still shows up in auto complete along with
The new one. Is there anyway to delete this out of auto complete. I looked for posts on this but did not find any that would help or I missed it. Thanks

Found the answer for the auto complete
To delete a contact from appearing in Autocomplete:
When an unwanted contact appears as a suggestion, hover over it in the suggestions list.
Select the "X" to the right of the name.
A pop-up appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the contact. Select Delete.
The contact no longer appears as a suggestion in the Autocomplete list.
Note: If the contact you are deleting is also in your Yahoo! Mail list, removing it from Autocomplete will automatically delete the contact from your Yahoo! Mail list."

Are you not seeing the "X" on your smart phone or on your personal computer? I think the "X" only appears if you are on your personal computer. I don't believe it shows on your smart phone.

When I do that, it says that it was permanently deleted, then the next time I go to send an email, it's back again. Any ideas why this is not functioning for me? Thanks.

When I click on the X the address goes away but another window opens and says
( suggestion Permanently delete).
