Did you check to see if your iPhone needed to update its iOS? If everything is fine and you can't receive the text, you'll need to contact Instagram for assistance.

If you were expecting it through text, this is tied to short codes. If you aren't receiving short codes, you'll want to make sure your device is set to receive premium messages. Hi, @liv_yy9,
Check to see if your iPhone needs an update. Tap Settings>General>About. If an update is available, you'll see it and be able to manually update your device. If this doesn't help, are you otherwise able to receive short code message? Please let us know.
