Very Frustrated, discovered I'm paying for internet no longer offered in my area.
I am very dissappointed in Att and their business practices. In December, I recieved an email informing me that my area was now eligible to uprgrade to Att's internet express service (only basic was available previously). Excited to have the chance for faster internet, I signed up almost immediately and began paying for the service in January. Recently, I checked to see if my area had any other upgrades and discovered that Internet Basic is still the only service offered for my area. This means that either I have paid for Express for six months under false claims by ATT that I was receiving better service, or the Express service was discontinued in the six months and I was never notified. Regardless, I am very frustrated and would like to be refunded for the money I have paid for a service I never received. I hope someone from ATT will see this post and contact me immediately.
Have you done any speed tests or otherwise checked your plan? The fact that is says it's not available to new customers doesn't mean you're not getting this plan, it's possible that it was only available to a limited number of users that got filled.
