Hi @yostcastle
Since your account has been disabled, your Landline service is being affected. The only way to get it to perform as it should would be to establish service yourself. Take a look at what we have available in your area here!

Thanks for your response. I must clarify.
Years ago, I became a sub-account (sbcglobal.net) , on my own landline, to a master account(also sbcglobal.net) on its own, different, landline. The owner of the master account recently cancelled service with ATT. It was about the same time I was no longer able to acquire an IP address through my DSL modem. All the modem's lights behave normally as though it is seeking a connection (internet light blinking green.
I am still able to do everything as before, but only by connecting my laptop wirelessly to my (gracious) neighbor's network, ie, not using my modem nor my router. It feels like my landline (phone number) has been affected. Make sense ? or coincidental ? Could it be an administrative issue at the ATT (accounts) office ? Thanks in advance for a reply.

Thanks again for the info. Seems like the easy solution would be for me to request my sub account be changed to master status and independent of the previous arrangement. That would require ATT to merely approve/bless my landline as valid...simple fix.
If so, which ATT office/group (name or phone number) should I contact ?
