When I try to change my password, attwifimanager says my user name or password are incorrect

I'd like to change my password on the Netgear Nighthawk ATT mobile hotspot. I cannot log in on attwifimanager. It says my user name or password are incorrect. User ID defaults to admin

Hi, @iblevy,

 

We'd love to help with this. To be able to set your username and password again, you'll have to reset the Nighthawk. Follow these steps:

 

  1. With the device face down, use your thumbs to apply pressure to the remove icons on the back of the device then slide up to remove the back cover.
  2. Insert a SIM tool or a paperclip into the reset button below the battery for ten seconds.
