How do I change my Yahoo email password?

Due to Yahoo security breach, am trying to change my password.  It brought me to the ATT login page.  Forgot password at ATT and tried to reset but window popped up for me to contact  ATT and then it goes to a list of choices for what it is I need support on.  Email is choice, but it goes in a circle and goes back to the ATT login...and I'm back to square 1.  

I read the previous comments and tried some of what was posted, but I still ended up back at "contact us", and realizing I hadn't made progress.  Please advise.  Thank you.

I am pretty sure I have changed may password since late 2014 when this hack happened. How can I verify when I last changed my password.

I am caught in a loop that sends me to my at&t account to change my Yahoo password. I followed the directions and successfully (unnecessarily) changed my at&t password. However, the password to sign in to my Yahoo account remains unchanged. Any suggestions? Thank you.

As with other people, I cannot change the Yahoo email password. I have changed the AT&T Access ID password. Any login to AT&T (say, for the link provided for changing the Yahoo password) uses the new password. BUT the login for Yahoo Mail/@sbcglobal.net POP3 is still using the OLD PASSWORD! The support links above say that the email accounts can only be unmerged if your AT&T account is inactive; I am a current AT&T customer. Is there some option I've missed?

I have a merged AT&T and Yahoo account. My Yahoo account has been hacked and is sending pornographic emails. I've changed my password twice with AT&T, and it won't update my Yahoo account passwrod.

It also says chat is available, but when you click the link for AT&T Email, it sends you to a webpage that doesn't exist anymore. Most support pages for the merged accounts no longer exist. I'm seriously considering disabling my accounts and moving everything to Gmail.

Same here, sorry to be blunt but AT&T really screwed the pooch on this one. Now that Yahoo got hacked I want to change my password, but apparently it's connected to AT&T for which I can not log in. What a royal cluster. I suppose there was a valid reason I stopped using Yahoo/ AT&T so, so, so long ago...

atandtsucks....I've already started to mirgrate over to gmail.  I spend half a day calling ATT and reseaching how to fix the problem. ATT have no clue this is happening when i called for some odd reason. They told me to go to yahoo.com help, which sends me back to ATT.com. Without any help from ATT or yahoo, I spend the 2nd part of my day changing everything to my new gmail. I sitll have quite a few accounts that is linked to this email, so i still can delete it.

What a mess ATT and yahoo. I've been with you for 20+ years and you can get the most important thing correct!

How do I change my Yahoo password? I keep getting redirected to AT&T - I've changed that password, but it is apparently separate from Yahoo - my Yahoo accounts still only recognize the old password, not the new AT&T password. It directs me to AT&T help phone number, and after finally getting a human to answer was told that AT&T and Yahoo are totally separate - this would appear to be an endless circle. Worst of all there appears to be no way to access Yahoo tech support!
