I was switching home phone and internet to AT&T and was told that "I needed to be home between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Obviously, I had to take off work. At 6:00 p.m., I received a text from AT&T indicating that "they would not be able to complete hook up, and it would be the following day". I lost a WHOLE day and they didn't even show up! And when they DID show up today, they did not even need to go INSIDE the house.
On top of that, there were problems with AT&T processing my internet service order. There were system problems in trying to view the "status" online (constant system errors). AND I spent almost 2 hours in total being transferred and put on hold, only to be told in the end "sorry for your inconvenience".
Now going to research other phone/internet providers. Likely pulling my wireless as well.
Thanks for your lack of customer service AT&T. Not a good foot to start on.
