Can I get back old ADSL if I have U-Verse?

I used to have 6mbs FastAccess DSL prior to upgrading to 12mbs U-Verse.

I would like to add a 2nd internet line in the form of a  3mbs FastAccess DSL.  This is a dedicated gaming line, away from the family line.  The old DSL is known to have better ping time than U-Verse as well.

So.... can I get back old DSL after upgrading my house to U-Verse 4 years ago?

Hi johnnylawless,

Unfortunately, you are not able to have active DSL and U-verse services at the same location, so if the DSL service is available, it will replace the U-verse services.

No. att wants everyone to be on U-verse products. They are phazing out DSL...at least that's what they are doing in my part of the world. It's twice the cost, but that isn't surprizing. That's what hogs do...get all they can from all they get.

Hmm when i switched like for like speeds my bill didnt change except i was given an additional promotion of 10 dollars off for 6 months. now if you go from 3 meg dsl to 6 meg ipdsl then you can expect to pay twice the amount.
