I have the 1000 Mbit fiber internet package and am trying to find a way - without replacing their router or running another device to pass-through trace the traffic - not to mention the pain that is dealing with the WiFi traffic. AT&T should be able to provide this reporting to us with relative ease one would think.
I just want to know if I'm actually utilizing the majority of my available bandwidth or just paying for 700Mbits of bandwidth that I don't need. Unfortunately I can only find data utilization reports which are less than helpful in this regard.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks for reaching out on the forums, we're here to help! If you wish to know if you are running an optimized network you should check out our AT&T Smart Home Manager app. From this app you can run diagnostics and check the health of your network, run speed test, and even a Wi-Fi channel scan to optimize your Wi-Fi for the best possible network performance. We hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately this is not what I'm looking for. I simply want to see a WAN bandwidth utilization report to chart how much of my 1Gbit capacity I'm utilizing. It should be easy enough for the operations team to put together and make available to residential customers. I would be surprised if it's not available for AT&T business customers already.

@jgstockton , I initially misunderstood your request: You're looking for spot utilization during shorter periods than 1 day. AT&T only provides 1 day resolution on their site (described below, but I think you've already seen that).
You can set up something like MRTG and collect the stats yourself. I have a PowerShell script that queries the BGW210 for utilization information. MRTG calls it every 5 minutes and plots the information in utilization graphs.
-- Instructions for anyone looking for accumulated usage --
go to att.com and login with your Internet account credentials.
Click on the "+" (plus sign) icon on My Internet
The "My Usage" card shows the current usage so far this month. Click on the "See all my usage" link on that card.
Usage details shows the daily detail which can also be downloaded. You can change the period covered using the "Showing:" selector.

I think everyone's a bit confused here. I have unlimited data with my 1Gbit service so I don't care how many GB I'm moving. I want to see how much of the 1000Mbit bandwidth I'm utilizing. For instance if I'm only using 300Mbit, I want to be able to see that. Something like the attached image:

Unfortunately AT&T currently doesn’t offer any services for bandwidth utilization for residential customers, however I was able to find a forums post which may be of use to you.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Yes, @jgstockton, I was initially confused, but I do get it. As Mihai said, AT&T doesn't provide that for Residential accounts. As I said, I use MRTG as my reporting tool to display that information. It calls a PowerShell script that I wrote that queries the Gateway to obtain the metrics for MRTG. For example, here's the last 30 hours in 5 minute intervals:
Bandwidth is always computed as the amount of data transferred over a period. Very few (if any) collection systems will actually calculate it at a 1 second resolution
MRTG can be found at https://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg. I would be happy to provide you with my PowerShell script if you would like it.
