How can I speak with a sales rep on the phone about ordering Gigapower?

I am a current AT&T Uverse internet customer interested in upgrading to gigapower (available in my Leander, TX neighborhood) and also potentially switching from DirecTV to Uverse TV service. The uverse sales reps reached by calling the sales line have zero information about gigapower. I have even been told I was wrong and AT&T does not offer such a service, period. One rep even refused to navigate to the AT&T gigapower webpage so that I could show her what I was seeing. As one could imagine, this is a frustrating and somewhat insulting experience for someone to have when they are trying to give you their money while moving service from a competitor.

I have so far been unable to reach anyone that can provide a single piece of useful information about gigapower. I have questions about the service and promotion that go beyond the information provided in FAQ's and community forums.

How can I get in touch with a live human being who is knowledgeable about gigapower and capable of helping me place an order?

I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team.  One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly.  Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.

If you want to speak to a GigaPower sales rep, you can call them at 855-632-8209.  This will take you to a sales rep who is trained in info for GigaPower.

Calling this number gave me someone who said you can only order gigapower online. Is there ANY way to get a hold of someone who actually knows what they are talking about?

The person that contacted me after PMing customer care told me that they were unable to help with gigapower. However, I was able to call back and this time the person was willing to have a tech come out to check the availability of gigapower services.
