business modem for a home?
The person that sold us UVERSE indicated that we should have a business modem for our home. It covers 10,000. is this a good idea for a home???

The FCC limits the wattage used for WiFi else it could cook things like a microwave oven. Business routers will use a specially engineered antenna system to achieve greater distances. However, there are other products for a lot less money that can accomplish the same thing, WiFi range extenders. There are also devices that use electrical wiring to extend WiFi.
Bottom line, it really depends on your needs and requirements.
